A beautiful small bricks and mortar shop for children nestled in the heart of Hastings Old Town. Thoughtfully curated collection of sustainable clothing, shoes, toys and more for babies and young children. Clothing brands stocked include Pigeon Organics, MarMar Copenhagen, Disana, Engel, MP Denmark, Condor, Copenhagen Colors, Pickapooh, Sense Organics. Nicola personally buys at the ethical and sustainable clothing trade fair, INNATEX in Germany twice a year. The shop stocks a wide selection of European made wooden toys including, Grimm's, Grapat and Bajo Wooden Toys,
Nicola is a qualified children's shoe fitting specialist and carries a wide range of high quality shoes by Bobux, Petasil, Camper and Froddo from pre walker to UK size 3. Shoes are only fitted and sold in the shop as every shoe and every child is unique so getting the right fit is important.

Opened in February 2020 by owner Nicola to provide a joyful shopping experience for customers looking for sustainable and ethically made products for babies and young children. One of Nicola's brand pillars is that of supporting small, sustainable and unique.
Nicola also designs and makes her own sustainable brand, Sea Whistle. Made from linen and Liberty prints in styles that are timeless, comfortable for play, roomy for plenty of wear and made for longevity so each piece can be passed down and along. Clothes are cut out on a table made from Hastings pier wood, the very pier where Jimi Hendrix played, on top of the hill where Hastings Castle was built after the famous 1066 battle of Hastings. Sea Whistle clothing truly is made where history was made!
